Marigold’s Gathering Grove Park is Open & Ready for Play!
Marigold’s Main Park located on the corner of Cherish Drive and Rejoice Street, Tarneit is Open!
This bright and interactive play space is ready for your family to spend an afternoon in.
The vibrant design features curved path networks that have taken inspiration from a cricket oval and mounded forms of bright colours reminiscent of produce at a spice market.
Designed with younger children in mind, the mixed play space is a fantastic area for younger kids to socialise and play in an interactive way. Incorporating sound play instruments, these noise makers are going to bring a smile to young faces and budding musicians. The balancing logs, steppers and giant boulders are beckoning to be climbed on, walked across, or jumped from by little ones. Located close to the ground and surrounded by tanbark, even if a spill is taken, they won’t be down for long.
Once all of the instruments and nature play aspects have been discovered, tried out and enjoyed, there are still the traditional play elements your kids can head to for fun on the slide, swings or climbing net. This eye catching and prominent structure is the centrepiece of the park where many little monkeys are going to want to race to the top and practice their swinging. A shelter complete with picnic tables and seating, also draws the eye with a unique serpentine roof which becomes a visual destination point as you approach the park.
A huge, grassed kick-about area completes this multiuse space and promises to tire out those little legs. This is also a perfect spot to play fetch with your four-legged family member, enjoy a game of cricket, or pack a picnic and relax in the sun.
Families from all over the Marigold community will love having this unique play space in their neighbourhood.
We look forward to seeing many Marigold families gathering together to enjoy this space, hosting family under the picnic shelter, catching up with friends and neighbours or enjoying a kick of the footy or soccer ball on the grassed area.
